Responsibilities:
- Uses a broad range of process engineering capabilities to evaluate, develop, model, and optimize process designs in support of operations and back office activities
- Performs engineering evaluations and technical feasibility related to new business development opportunities, debottlenecking, and revamps
- Confers with business stakeholders, operations staff, management, vendors and various subject matter experts to define and detail business process and value streams
- Professionally reports technical findings and insight to aid the collaborative decision-making process
- Produces technical documentation for modified processes
- Continually develops proficiency in software packages such as those used for process simulation and optimization and design graphics
Desired Qualities:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of Process modeling is required; 10+ years is preferred
- Understanding of best practices for project and process engineering management
- Proficient with computer modeling software
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Certification in Lean or Lean Six Sigma is preferred
